I have lived in Rhode island for almost 25
years. We have many waterways here,
but I
never have heard anything about any
sightings
of unusual and frightening sea creatures
similar to "Nessie" -- until
now.
It was described as "a 15-foot animal
with greenish-leathery skin, a body the shape
of a barrel, the head the shape of a basketball
and long, finger-like teeth." Authorities
claimed it may have been a sea lion! (Yeah,
right.) Sea lion or not, it scared the heck
out of a couple who were bathing at a beach
in Portsmouth, on the Sakonet river on August
2. Newspaper coverage is limited to a short
blurb, but radio and TV were a little more
forthcoming.
Evidently a woman was swimming while
her
husband was on the beach. The man observed
that this thing came up out of the
water
right near his wife. As she screamed
and
headed for shore, he bolted out into
the
water in order to distract whatever
it was,
even saying later that he was ready
to die
to protect his wife. The creature then
disappeared.
It was reported that he and his wife
were
very visibly shaken by the event, leading
authorities to conclude that they did
in
fact see something. But as to the description of the "monster,"
they have their doubts.
In our book, Kwan Yin says that things like Bigfoot
and the Loch Ness monster are only
here temporarily.
They are drawn in through interdimensional
points and then leave. That is why
no one
seems to be able to locate them, and
why
they seem to disappear into thin air.
While
they are here, they are solid, 3-dimensional,
and can be touched. If they died while
in
this dimension, their remains would
be here.
She says that this is part of they
way that
we are being called to increase our
awareness
that there are other dimensions, and
much
more to our existence than we are usually
aware of.
