Have you ever compared yourself to your vehicle?
Your body is your vehicle on earth that takes
you where you want to go. Car trouble can
tell us what we are thinking and feeling
at any given moment and give clues as to
how to help to come into "alignment."
Years ago, Louise Hay put together a little
manual to show how illnesses are a symbol
for what we have been thinking and feeling,
and how they ultimately manifest within the
body and the life. She knew that we manifest
these symptoms in the body only after they
have been lingering in the mind and heart
for a while. The physical cause is but a
mirror of the distress in the soul. And since
it is our energy manifesting, it also expands
to symbolize what is happening in our life,
too.
My most recent situation involving a car
was rather drastic, but not life-threatening.
I had just pulled out onto the street, my
car purring along when, with no warning light
or anything, she sputtered and chugged and
just lost power. I could turn it over, but
could not get it to catch. The thing was
making an awful racket when I started it.
Come to find out the engine is blown and
not worth replacing. I only had the car 6
months. What does this mean?
For me it was about resistance to going forward
in life. It also was about the energy of
the car itself, as we always attract a reflection
of our own energy. Another aspect involved
releasing a long-standing need to hang on
to the old energy, avoiding waste at any
cost. Do you see what I just said? Avoid
waste at any cost. How strange to express
it that way. Watch how you describe a situation.
The words and phrases you use will tell you
a lot about yourself and your issues.
In an interesting twist of events, it looks
like I am going to be driving a 2006 Camry
that has been recently inherited by my wife.
She can't drive it right now because she
still has a new lease car and cant get out
of it right now. I really wanted that other
car, but I learned a great lesson in trust.
I need to not push so hard and to allow the
Universe to bring me what I desire, even
if it is not exactly what I am wanting, because
as Kwan Yin and the Masters say, Spirit always
has a better plan.
I have another older car that is giving me
problems, too. This one is starting to downshift
at strange times causing me to slow down.
So the question is, why is my energy creating
situations where I have to slow down or stop
completely? This problem is in the transmission.
A transmission is a message being sent. Am
I getting the message? It is also an uneven
translation of spiritual or physical energy,
as the gears in the trannie upstep or downstep
energy.
A flat tire: are you getting the support
you need? A blowout: anger about not being
supported. Tire falls off completely? Your
support system (or trust in Spirit) is coming
apart through neglect and may be life-threatening.
Tires may also be seen as a trust factor.
Although we depend on them, they are rather
fragile, and we take advantage of that trust
sometimes, forgetting to give thanks for
the support that Spirit gives us in our life
so that we have a smooth ride.
If your car gets hit, this is strong energy.
It's a wake-up call. You can use symbols
for the car as Louise Hay and others use
them for the body. A hit in front indicates
fears of the future, the back is unsettled
feelings about the past, the sides are the
present, and each side represents male or
female energy. The right side is masculine
and shows us pushing too hard with the energy
pushing back on itself. The left side is
the feminine and shows us neglecting to nurture
ourselves or allowing ourselves to be impacted
too strongly by others.
If your car is pulling to the side, notice
which side. When you see which side is pulling,
focus your attention on the other side, as
that is the side that was weak and actually
is causing the opposite side to pull. Then
get yourself aligned while you align your
car too.
Fixing your car along with yourself is an
important action. Fixing the car's malfunction
helps to free you from being subconsciously
reminded of a certain issue in your life.
Something else may reoccur though if you
don't take some time to check your energy,
your intentions and your fears, and do a
little inner work on that.
These are my interpretations, but they may
be a good staring point. Just like dream
symbols, car symbols can mean different things
to different people. Our individual situations
are unique in their expression and need to
be interpreted by the person experiencing
them.
