Happy Spring to you. I can't believe another year has come and gone. I am once again so pleased and excited to be writing to you about the Ceremony of the Roses.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with what this ceremony is about, let me take a moment to explain it. Three years ago I was inspired to start performing an annual blessing ceremony in May for all the children being born each year. The purpose of the blessing is to call and welcome these children and the new consciousness they bring with them. That consciousness is of oneness.

The ceremony is to say that we as a planet are ready to change our perception from separateness to oneness, from fear and ego to love and acceptance, and from Me to We. It is named The Ceremony of the Roses, as each new baby is as perfect as a rose bud and each child already blessing the Earth with his or her presence are like delicate, fragrant roses, bringing purity and love naturally with them.

The energy coming to the Earth now is of a very broad intelligence, and is coming fast with Divine inspiration and purpose. We as a planet are like a human in the stages of adolescence becoming an adult, and we are going to grow up, (or evolve) either way. We can choose growth filled and seeking light or growth filled with darkness and fear.

What are we teaching the children we are so fortunate to have close to us about love? Do we even know what we believe about love? Are we living in judgment and expectation, or acceptance and intention? These are powerful questions I know, but they need to be brought into the light honestly in order to free ourselves from the limitations our current belief systems keep in place. Remember that we too were all children once and that perfection lies deep within us all. We all have incredible gifts to uncover and nurture.

Last year the ceremony was about cleansing. This year it is about continuing this cleansing and manifesting real change. It will take simply a focused moment of intention for change. For those of you who wish to be a part of the ceremony this year, this is what you can do:

Find a place that you can connect to the Earth, a place that you can put your bare feet on the ground and breathe. For those of you that have held a ceremonial space for this ceremony in the past years, you will know the space to create. Trust in the light and focus your intention for wisdom and peace. Feel your feet in the ground. Look not into the past or to the future. Know that our future is now in that moment. If you want, you can bring a rose or flower of your choice and settle there with the Earth and the flower. Look deeply into the perfection of the flower and try to become aware of that perfection inside yourself. Make an intention to re-connect with that piece of yourself that will support the children currently on and coming to this planet. Focus that intention even if it is only for a moment. Be present in that moment, and anchor that energy to the Earth. Also, think about the people in your life and the gifts they bring to your table. Thank them and tell them you love them...now is the time for this, not later. We need to show each other love.

We have collectively created our situation and I believe that we can collectively re-create it. I am so grateful for the opportunity to share my love and joy in this with all of you. I am honored once again to be leading this incredible ceremony. May we all open our eyes wide to the magnificence within ourselves that we may manifest our growth no longer through pain, tragedy and sadness, but with joy, openness, and acceptance.
