WORLD HEALING DAY
August 22, 2002 marks the seventh annual
World Healing Day, coordinated out
of Birmingham,
England. The event seeks to promote
a greater
awareness of our interconnectedness
as a
global family.
We all know that masses of people sharing
the same thoughts at the same time
can have
a great and positive effect. According
to
the coordinators of the event, experiments
by the HeartMath Institute in the California
have shown a definite change in the
earth's
magnetic field when a mass of people
project
a thought pattern. Thoughts are things.
We
know this. But here is tangible proof
for
the skeptical.
On World Healing Day you are invited
to join
people around the world in two simultaneous
global linkups. The first will take
place
at 12 noon GMT, which is about 5pm
EST for
us. Each linkup will last for at least
20
minutes. More information on this event
can
be had here.
During this time it is asked that you
meditate,
pray, dance, sing, or perform a symbolic
act. Whatever you do, and wherever
you are,
dedicate your intent to the expansion
of
love and awareness on the Planet, and
as
you contemplate your connection with
all
things, sense the ripples of what you
do
spreading outwards to uplift all.
YEAR OF THE HORSE
I got an email about this year (although
we are in the middle of it) being the
year
of the Horse in Chinese Astrology.
It is
said that the year could be described
in
terms of the symbology of the animal
representing
the year. It is also said that people
can
be described by the animal characteristics
of the year that they were born in.
This
last part I am not so sure of, as there
are
so many people born during one year,
it would
not be practical to even stamp them
with
any but the most vague characteristics.
My
belief is that each year is more an
indicator
of the general mood of people and especially
the economy.
In Chinese Astrology, every year has
a symbol
and a meaning. There are twelve animal
symbols
for 12 years, then it starts again.
In addition,
there are 5 elements that cycle too,
each
getting 2 years: fire, earth, metal,
water,
wood -- in that order. This year it
is water
Horse.
So I offer my own insights and comments,
after reading a bit about the characteristics
of this year, the previous year and
the next
one.
This year we will be asked to ride
the horse
as it gallops. If you have ever ridden
a
horse, you know that you must synchronize
yourself with the up and down movement
of
the horse, or be bumped around by coming
down when it is going up. The message:
Be
ready for the ups and downs. Go with
them,
not against them. Horse also asks,
"Are
you awake? Are you aware?"
Horse is yang, or fire related and
my God,
have we had fires. However, this year
of
the Black Horse represents water also.
If
you know the symbology of the Mah Jongg,
the characters for fire and water together
mean "danger" or "calamity."
Very interesting considering the economic
state, the fires out west, and the
general
tone of uncertainty. Horse is also
very skittish,
so the general mood will be high-strung,
nervous and jolting at the littlest
surprise.
Horse is related to travel and speed.
I believe
that if we look back on this year,
we will
find that we are speeding through it,
and
possibly noticing how quickly it seems
to
be passing. This may have something
to do
with the sense that things are moving
more
quickly, and therefore prompting us
to utilize
our time by focusing on what we really
need
to do spiritually for ourselves. It
is also
a good time to think about one's true
career
path.
The previous year (2001) was Snake.
The year
before that (2000) was Dragon. In Dragon
years there are great financial gains.
Dragon
is always associated with luck and
gambling,
and what is the stock market but legalized
gambling on a future outcome. But the
next
year was Snake. This brought a mentality
that was the precursor to the recent
downfall
of certain CEO's and companies that
were
fudging their earnings to keep investors
involved, and to keep stocks artificially
high. It turns out that Snake is nice
on
the outside, but doesn't mind a little
white
lie, or bending the truth as they need
to
for their own means. They see it as
a tactic
for success, rather than a moral situation.
Snake brings out the feeling that one
is
a law into themselves. Then came Horse,
and
it all came out in the open this year.
Next year is water Goat, also known
as Sheep.
I think sheep is actually more appropriate,
as it mirrors our perception of the
symbology
better. Of course, sheep are followers
of
the rest, so don't expect anything
major
to be accomplished in the world without
some
wrangling. Sheep years would mean also
that
there will be more general movement
toward
more democratic processes wherever
there
has been a push for control, and a
desire
to talk things out for peace rather
than
fight -- which is good. Sheep move
in the
same direction, but they can't be pushed.
Makes me think of "Babe"
and how
he learned the secret words (Baa Ram
Yew)
to be able to direct the sheep. Hmmm.
Could
it be that we may be temporarily vulnerable
to someone who can sway the public
sentiment
through saying the right words? People
may
also be over-worried about things,
and you
will hear a bit more complaining.
This upcoming year will also see more
of
an introspective mood, which would
be a normal
reaction after a year of great volatility.
I think people will be sitting back
and taking
stock of their situations (no pun intended!).
Sheep represents artistic and creative
work.
Also, it has more of a concern over
family
and friends than gaining wealth. I
would
say that the mood will be one of realizing
that money isn't everything, and that
after
all is said and done, what we really
need
is the support that only a (spiritual)
family
or a good friend can provide, because
there
are no guarantees in this life. People
of
like-mind will be sticking together
and finding
comfort there.
In conjunction with being a Sheep year,
next
year is a Water year as well. Water
is tranquil
when left alone, but can be whipped
up into
a tidal wave if disturbed. Mostly I
think
people will be feeling very emotional
and
-- in conjunction with the sheep symbol
--
congregating together for mutual emotional
support. Looks like 2003 will be very
much
an inner experience for us all, as
we search
to find friends and personal interests
that
we can relate to on a more meaningful
level,
and which support our feelings of belonging
to a certain group. In a larger sense,
it
may prompt a more unified feeling for
all
people on earth as brothers and sisters,
and a willingness to help out and volunteer,
especially for a peaceful cause.
THE NEW MATRIARCHY
The New Matriarchy is making itself
known.
It has been said that we will be coming
into
a time when the aspect of the Divine
Mother--the
aspect of creation, compassion and
cooperation--is
more the basis of our world than the
male-driven
world of a controlled hierarchy that
we see
now.
I said to Kwan Yin that it seems that
men
are becoming more aware of the female
side
of themselves, and she said, "Most
of
them. Many times they are feeling inadequate
and they put a determination on themselves.
That is the state of the greater amount
of
male population on the planet. The
other
little ones that are willing and gracious,
and knowing about love, they are experiencing
a shorter time for them to come to
awakening,
which would be part of the intuition.
That
[the intuition] is a great part of
the feminine
that can be of great service to the
masculine.
You must understand also that the feminine
can be every bit as dark as masculine
ever
could be. When the feminine brings
the dark
forward, it is more threatening."
I wanted to know if this is the first
step
in the New Matriarchy, or a new general
awareness
of utilizing more feminine principles
in
traditionally male roles; situations
such
as leadership and business practices.
She
said:
"Divine Mother energy is an alignment
with the beingness of creative power
in the
Universe. The feminine is creativity.
The
masculine aspect is on the highest
level
is one of pure awareness. Not performing,
but being aware of what is present.
In this
Divine awareness, it is that the creativity
can begin to create. It is going to
be very
hard to take business and squish it
in a
direction where it is that the divine
feminine
is going to be acceptable."
"Right now it is about the sensing
of
the quality of life and how one moves
with
the other; how your experience is the
experience
of the other as well. There is no difference
between the two. This is how little
ones
will be able to manifest and sustain
a more
happier life."
So what about a woman president? "There
will be attempts at this. But you know
what?
We don't see it happening in period
of time
that presidency is of much consequence."
I'm assuming that she is talking about
a
future time when the consciousness
is of
a certain level that we don't have
a unified
country with a single leader. Many
have predicted
that things will shift so that there
will
be more local leadership, but still
with
the intent of a confederation of areas
that
make up the U.S. Notice I said "areas,"
not states.
CURRENT EVOLUTION AND ENERGY
Since the energy is changing, I wanted
to
know if a change up in frequency or
vibration
would change the genetic pattern of
people.
Especially with the older people here
on
earth, as those of us who are older
were
born in a very different energy pattern.
She says that things can change to
a certain
extent:
"It is not as though you can change
the 'baseline' in the game. You still
have
the same boundary lines in the game.
But
the rapidity and the cleverness with
which
the game is played can change. So if
you
have a person who is 50, and they have
lived
their life in a certain way and they
are
not willing to surrender to their spiritual
self, then the parameters of their
life will
stay the same, and the game will be
played
the same way."
"Oftentimes through sickness or
through
devastation, they come to prayer that
gives
them an answer and a greater amount
of faith.
This elevates the amount of change
that can
happen in the life in the physical
structure.
But faith is not about physicality.
It is
about changing the awareness of the
non-physical
reality."
Once again, a question about physicality
comes down to how we interact and incorporate
the non-physical--the spiritual aspect
within
us--with our everyday consciousness,
our
everyday lives.
Kwan Yin wants us to know that this
energy
shifting is not an outer thing happening
to us. It is about "giving permission
for the higher frequency to be the
predominant
frequency. When one is operating from
the
higher frequency, their vibratory rate
is
shifting into a more smooth mode of
operation.
Therefore, there is less wear and tear.
Is
like putting very good oil in an engine."
So as the vibrations come up, will
the earth
itself be purified or cleansed? "Yes,
of course it will. The earth itself
will
be able to emanate the truth of the
highest
frequency of compassion and love. It's
not
just about dirt."
ANIMAL COMMUNICATION
Anyone seen Sonya, the pet psychic
on TV?
This is a well-produced show on the
Animal
Planet Network with an interesting
woman
who helps people with their pet problems.
Not just dogs and cats, but horses,
pigs,
sheep, ferrets and yes, even zebras.
For

communicate
with your animals. Mainly, it is through
mental pictures.
Karen and I have always wondered about
our
little Gatito cat. We know he is part
Siamese,
but he doesen't yowl incessantly with
no
good reason. In fact, he actually "talks"
to us. He has several different sounds
with
intonations that he makes, but only
when
we are face to face with him.
It seems our cats also feel our emotions
and react. Our other cat, Marble, is
a female
and she has attached herself to Karen--literally.
Every time Karen stretches out on the
couch,
Marble gets on top of her--always on
the
legs--in the most contorted positions
and
purrs away. We asked Kwan Yin about
this
and she explained that Marble was creating
a vortex for Karen in response to a
chaotic
energy pattern to balance that energy.
Marble
is unconsciously bringing the energy
down
to the lower chakras.
Kwan Yin says that our cats "want
to
communicate -- even the animals in
the woods
want to. They also want to make an
impression
in the world, so that there can be
an establishment
of the oneness. Communication is a
way of
being in the world but not of it, and
yet
understanding and relating, one to
the other,
on a frequency that is not physical.
Everything
is becoming aware of its spectrum.
Communication
is the frequency of the word, as is
spoken
of in the Bible -- 'The Word.' Therefore
it is just a variation on this."
THE SUN
With all this talk about sun exposure
and
skin cancer, I wondered if the sun
was actually
becoming dangerous, and whether this
has
something to do with the way the rays
are
reacting with our polluted atmosphere
or
something. Kwan says, "There is
a different
angulation of the sun so that it is
not capable
of being all that it once was to the
planet.
Therefore there is a type of mutated
activity
going on. More blockage. When there
is more
blockage, the truth does not come forward
in full force into the planet. The
sun is
not dangerous, but more…agitating.
It brings
a sense of irritation into the world.
Too
much predominant fire, and you come
up with
a little bit of burn."
THE U.S.A. AND THE "WOBBLE"
I was asking about the United States
in the
June edition and left this piece out
by accident.
We, as a nation, were meant to be something
special, a spiritual ideal. I fear
that the
ideal has been subverted by human fears
and
negativity pushing against upliftment
--at
least temporarily. Kwan Yin relates
to us
that this resistance to change creates
a
"wobble," but things can
shift
with a change of heart and with prayer.
You
don't have to be out there waving signs
or
calling your representatives. It's
not about
the physical, it is about a change
in consciousness.
Kwan Yin: "The USA was created
to be
a place of unity. Therefore, if it
could
be centered as a space of unity, it
would
be a focal point of the Universe that
would
be the "sun behind the sun"
that
would emanate energy, which was the
original
design. The wobble [negative vibration
resisting
movement] now is of such a vibration,
that
there is doubt about that [whether
the USA
could become the ideal it was meant
to be].
Even though the little ones want to
escalate
their world into a higher frequency--and
everything is in some sort of Divine
Right
Order--it is as though the wobble is
very
big right now. And therefore faith
must rise.
Every person that spends time in meditation
and prayer and bringing a higher quality
of vibration and love into another
person's
life, will help to stabilize the wobble."
This "sun behind the sun"
is an
esoteric concept that the Masters talk
about.
Here is a definition I found that may
help:
"The Sun behind the Sun is the
Spiritual
Cause behind the physical effect we
see as
our own Physical Sun and all other
stars
and star systems, seen or unseen, including
the Great Central Sun. The Sun behind
the
Sun of Cosmos is perceived as the Cosmic
Christ-the Word by Whom the Formless
was
endowed with form and Spiritual Worlds
were
draped with physicality."
RODS
There are so many mysteries in this
universe.
It seems I am always attempting to
uncover
them, one by one, until I am satisfied
that
I have the truth.
Rods came to my attention again recently
courtesy of the Art Bell radio talk
show.
Rods, or "skyfish," as they
are
also called, are what look to be semi-transparent
sticks with appendages of some sort,
flying
through the sky or low to earth at
great
speed, singular or in a group. Some
conjecture
has been that these are actually a
new species
that has been found. See photos of
this remarkable
energy here.
It is a phenomenon that people rarely
see
while it is happening. Mainly they
are seen
in photographs and in videos when played
back.
So, what does Kwan Yin have to say
about
this? "There are spaces in the
atmosphere
that are filled with other energetic
patterns.
So what they are seeing is another
energetic
pattern. Because the frequency is rising,
they are seeing these things."
"Little ones sometimes think of
this
as spaceship. We see it as accumulations
of negative energy that are being magnetized
to the other and being lifted from
the planet.
There is a lot of help going on [to
lift
negativity]. It is like a moving about
of
energy throughout the planet."
I suggested the phrase, "equalizing
the energy form place to place,"
and
she agreed.
She continued, "It is not so much
about
cleansing, but shifting energy. Shifting
accumulated energy of a denser degree
that
the Intelligence of the Universe recognizes
is too much in that particular area.
The
Intelligence of the Universe compacts
it
and moves it in the direction to where
it
can be transported to another location.
It
is not so much flying through the air,
it
is a part of the intelligence of the
earth."
So many things to discover…so little
time.
